Final Journey update Week #8: Multi ATK and More!
Hey guys I'm back with a new post.
- PROGRAMING
Well this week didn't go as I expected, I was able to finish the whole multi attack thing and it works very well with no bugs or anything of that note! I was also able to finish off the armor feature which shows how much armor you'll gain again works pretty tho it really didn't take awhile to finish. And thats all I've finished I really wanted to finish the double attack feature this week but I guess I'll finish it one next week, I'm also gonna add effects and stuff to the game like poisonous effects and others. oh and no video this week more info on the Social section.
I'm sorry for this week's lack of progress on the game I hope next week will be better tho I can't guarantee that.
- ART
For art I was able to rework and add a few things for example I changed the potion icons I think they look better and more different, idk what do you guys think? Also I gave mike his own attack idol animation I'd say it looks pretty cool maybe some mistakes here and there but for the most part better than I expected it.
I'm kinda liking this whole animation thing like using smear animation and other technics which made animation more fun for me, hopefully this will make the game look even more appealing and generally good looking!
- SOCIAL
And here we come to all the thing I said I would do but didn't, sadly the video has been delayed until next week I have been trying out all the editing features of kinemaster phone (I know I should use one for PC but I'm too lazy to look for one) and I'm getting the hang of it more and more, I also sadly forgot about recording while working on the multi attack feature.
All in all not all is bad news hopefully this video will be first of many videos in the weeks and months after.
one other thing is the whole .5 posts which yeah I forgot to plan for it but I think one day I might do it if my progress on the game went pretty well.
- CONCLUSION
Well yeah this week wasn't as great but I just hope things will get better in the future, one other thing I'd like to announce is I'm going to work on a new small project a game for phones, don't worry that doesn't mean work on the game will slow down Final Journey's development will stay constant. Speaking of Final Journey in the near future I will release the beta version of Final Journey, its going to be just an area where you will go on different path ways with many enemies and such, this is not how the game will be but its more like a test for you guys I wanna see what you guys think of the current gameplay so can change it up if there were any problems.
